L'epouse

2018

25 minutes

Born from the world of puppetry, The Wife awakens and searches for herself far from reality, in our fantasies and nightmares. This solo tells the story of a fallen bride whose language is only the body, trying to reach out and connect.

The state of the body is the anchor point of this work, which seeks transformation and the ability to become other.

A true encounter with the audience, this solo places self-representation at the heart of this revisited bridal march.

Lost in the gaze of the other, torn between different spaces, The Wife moves forward as best she can.

At the crossroads of theater and performance, this approach carries the intention to touch and engage the viewer, who discovers this mechanized and alienated body.
