Coline Ploquin, after a cinema baccalaureate, an Applied Arts prep, and a detour to the university of anthropology, graduated from the Paul Poiret costume school in 2014. Since then, she has alternately worked as a costume designer, director and sometimes as a dress designer. She creates, sews and maintains costumes, whether in a workshop (Moulin Rouge), for companies (Saudade-P.Calvario, the 3rd Circus, the Studiod'Asnières, La Pieuvre...), theaters (La Pepinière, le Montansier...), theaters (La Pincère, le Montansier...), on tour to China, or from her workshop in Normandy. Recently, she accompanied the director Julie Cavanna for her adaptation of Suicided “A Hero”, Cyril Le Grix on “Callas” and “The Journal of the Plague Year”. She collaborates regularly with Philippe Calvario, in particular by designing the costumes for her latest “Double Inconstancy”. And she particularly appreciates projects that allow her to learn new skills and to move towards a more responsible practice, such as with the creation of costumes for “Paptsi” (cie Les Rivages du Vent), all in natural dyes. After a first creation with Rebecca Journo - La Pieuvre for Whales, she is currently working on costumes for Portrait, Les amours de la pieuvre, Canicular and Bruitage.
